About the Course
Now that your dog is a S.T.A.R. and understands positive reinforcement training, it is time to turn them into a good citizen! In this 6-week training program we will teach your dog how to appropriately greet other people and dogs as well as fine tuning skills such as targeting, sit/stay, down/stay, leave it, place, and more! After completing this class your dog will have the skills to join more social outings as a well-behaved member of your family!

Robbie Barnes
Robbie Barnes, BS, CPDT-KA, is the head of the Training and Wellness Center. Robbie has been a trainer for over 12 years and uses ONLY positive reinforcement methods to train dogs, as it is the most humane way to train a dog. It helps the dog learn to think during training and strengthens the human-canine bond by building trust. This method is also confidence-building for the human at the other end of the leash. Robbie also keeps up to date with the newest advances in dog training by completing continuing education courses each year.
